Hi all

Had a call from Polaris yesterday asking if we wanted to renew our Pollaris discount card. We asked if the same buy one get one free deal was still valid at the restaurant , but the girl from Polaris would not say yes or no.

We do not think its worth getting a new card unless we can use it in the restaurant so if anybody can confirm that the discount can still be used please can you let us know.

 Just been over to Al Kasar and it appears that the re-opening has now been delayed until monday ( possibly ) due to a problem in the kitchens.   Does make you wonder at the organisational skills of the management that they leave it until the day before checking this stuff, but Ho Hum.

As much as I want to keep the facilities going on our resort I find this astounding. I fly in tomorrow so would welcome any good restaurant alternatives that welcome young (well behaved) children. And I dont mind driving.

Alhama de Murcia has many restaurants that only a few have tried. You have to explore. If coming in from Alicante call at Thadar or San Javier go to square  Los Alcazzares

it's ridiculous that Polaris think that they can just open & close this restaurant whenever they want & at short notice!! Are there any new restaurants in Mazarron Port & have they finished renovating the paving / promanade? I've got 3 young boys & have always been made welcome at La Bretagne - French cuisine & 7th heaven - a cafe which also serves light meals. Both very good.

read the thread on opening sports zone and how many people are worried about Polaris.

They just dont care and we should know that by now.

I have also heard a rumour the resuarant is independant spanish run and the card is not valid but how true I do not know?

Lets hope someone opens it -- it is good -- compettiivley priced - and open all year.

Yes, I saw people eating gjere yesterday.

Too late for me and my family typically. Got back yesterday from 10 night stay. Resturant closed for the duration. Maybe a blessing in disguise found some great places to eat and tried somewhere different each night.
