Beacuse a number of people have asked me I have found out from Corvera the connection fees for the gas, water and electricity connections
In Spain you aways have to pay an initial fee for meters and connections which is nothing to do with the developer and on Corvera they will process these applications for free, some developers and lawyers charge
It is important that you always have sufficent funds in your bank account to cover both the connection fees and bills as they don´t mess around in Spain, they just cut you off if not paid and then charge €60 for re-connection. I have seen many problems when renters arruve and there are no utilities
The initial connection charges,are the same regardless of typeof property, which do not include IVA, VAT to you all are
Water: 180,53€
Electricity: 135,55€
Gas: 264,00€ if order the connection as soon as complete, if not, it would cost 347,00€
The minimum charge is normally €20 per service
Some bills are available on line but they are normally delivered to your post box onsite or UK address if you specify this but you will just see a charge on your bank account
