Quick car hire question

Hi

I know it's bit done to death but I can't find the thread. We booked a few months ago with DoYouSpain for a basic car and was advised on the voucher we would get Goldcar. I checked prices today for the same hire and it was 20 euros cheaper..!!

I booked it and the voucher said the car this time is Solmar. Not had these before, can anyone give me any experiences with this company whether good or bad. I don't want to end up paying more in insurance and other hidden charges, etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Phil, you've not said whether you're landing at San Javier or Alicante. If it's San Javier, go with SolMar.  

After flying in to San Javier many times now I can tell you that Goldcar = big big long queue, SolMar = no queue.

We used Solmar (through Carjet) at Alicante last time we were out & I agree with Chris, no queues & we were upgraded.  We always decline the opportunity to pay the extra charges!!!!  Overall, pretty good experience & to top it all we even had a car with an aerial fitted for once..
