Block 7 Gate

 Hi

My daughter and boyfriend arrived there this morning and the Right hand sidegate will not open with the key  the buzzer does not open it either some one let them in the Left hand gate .so now even to go out to the shop they are depending on someone letting them in every time.There was a mention of the locks getting changed I know. We will be over there on the 17/07/09 of course getting in is another Matter.

When we were over we had the same problem but found that the gate by the pool on the playground side doesn't lock !!!

they went down to the office in rojales and got key for other gate so they sorted

Just got back.The gate has been semi-fixed .a key will now open and lock it but the buzzer doesn't work, someone has taped open the latch

the locks that didn´t lock were fixed by me, no real problem some owner or guests had switch a small mechanism on the lock so they didn´t lock and they could get in whenever they wanted, this compromised the security of all our homes. The gate at block seven is another issue I couldn´t resolve that one but one of the other residents took an oil can to it. The fault is on a long list of snags given to the builder but as you all know he takes a lot of moving. The admistrator has put the problems in the hands of the courts but the spanish Judicial system is very slow. The only hope we have is if the keys are changed to fit all locks we may get something done through the community. These changes will take time as priority has to go with security and safety but is governed by the amount of us who pay their community fees. Will keep you all posted periodically
