We spent Easter at DV and had a lovely time.  A pity pool not open behind our block as it is quite a walk back up the hill from main pool, especially with buggy.

We walked a couple of times down to square and port.  Mainly we walked on the road as the paths were in a terrible state with holes, wires, lots of broken tiles, a real obstacle course!  Not to be done at night.

Is the El Hacho funds to cover this?  Or what authority should be looking after it.

Looking forward to a four day trip over next bank hol.  Just love the peacefulness.  We didnt hear any dogs but guess they are a bit away from us.

Mini,  I have a complete photo collection of all the death traps on the pavements as I mostly walk except when food shopping.   The holes in the payment are numerous.  More prevalent if you go left  but there are  some if you take the road down by the hotel.  I was intending to mail all of the photos to the Mayor  but the  I read in the local press that  there was to be a program of work to have these fixed.

So it is disappointing to read that they are still there.  Maybe someone has to die first ?

Paul, I don't think much will happen at the moment, due to the local elections - who is going to be in control.  And, also, the situation with El Hacho - is the town hall going to take it over?

Interesting to note that parts of the roads have been tarmacked (sorry if spelling wrong!).  The road turning left out of DV to the junction (going by the photos on here) and there is quite a bit of the road leading down the hotel that has already been done.  Have the developers have done this themselves?

Mini, were you not able to use the pool inbetween blocks 10 and 12?  Or did you just prefer the bigger pool?  I hope the block 10 pool wasn't locked!!
