We arrived on 5 August and leave today.  We haven't been asked for our bands (which we leave in our bag) once in that whole 3 + weeks.  We are a two bed and whilst there are only four of us I think it's ridiculous to decide that only four occupants are allowed pool access per apartment.  I'm certain that wouldn't be legal anyway.  Has anyone else been asked to show their bands in August or did security stop checking in July?

This year Paul the bands were four per two bed and six per three bed but we could pay a deposit for up to two guest bands (or a fee if we wanted to keep them). It worked well on the whole and the pool wasn't crowded at all. We managed to get beds at any time of the day in August even on weekends. I'm sure some people abused this still but there were no longer any locals driving in and parking up to use the pool. Now it seems that at the AGM it has been decided that there are to be no guest bands any longer.

I have the minutes and it's true.  I can't imagine why people at the AGM voted to have no guest bands at all and to restrict to four for a 2 bed.  Many owners have three children in a two bed and I don't think it's unreasonable to have a guest or two now and again as long as they are accompanied and abiding by rules.

Hello and welcome.  They stay open in the sense that they are cleaned and maintained all year and, aside from the bottom large pool that for health and safety law reasons has to have a life guard whilst open, they are not locked.  Officially however, they are usually open from late may to late October.  They aren't heated and so tend to be chilly outside of these times but some do use them.  My kids go in during warmer Easters and my husband and his friend once braved a width on New Year's Day! Not advisable! People do climb the gate to the big pool at the bottom outside of official opening times too.
