27 Feb ~ 01 Mar week-end

Hi All.

Popping out for a week-end in a fortnight's time.  A few jobs to do on Fri & Sat, but wondered if anybody fancied meeting up at the Surgery or elswhere over the week-end for drinks / eats.   Also looking for a location (to sneak out to watch the League Cup final) on the Sunday afternoon - Any alternatives to the Irish Bar on Camposal?  Somebody mentioned a sports type bar in Pt Mazzarron sometime back, but I lost the thread

Hi Nick,

I know a bar just outside the Port that has most of the football, I am sure they will have the final!  It is run by a guy called Paul - He is a City Fan, but despite that a nice guy, and good banter, although he wasn't happy Christmas day when I turned up in my new United shirt!!  If you are interested I will give you directions - I will enjoy telling him that there will be more united fans decending on him for the final when I am over next week!!

Directions would be useful..........I think you did tell me about this before, but I only had a quick & unsuccessful look for it in the dark.  Much more time on this trip so I will find it.

Dan, this match will be a good challenge for our up & coming youth team.  I hope you enjoy watching them - at least 6 or 7 players you maybe will have never heard of before - particulalry the Dasilva  twins..........but I know whose my money is on!!  Enjoy Wembley, hope you have a good day (but not to good of course)

The credit crunch has been a problem for most people, but I found a way round it a couple of months ago. A nice crisp tenner on United to do the quintuple, no risk, no problem nailed on,  a cast iron certainty! Should pay the mortgage and holidays for a while until things pick up.
