All,

we are out for our third visit to our new place in the sun tomorrow for a weeks stay with a view to finishing our decorating.  we have most of the main stuff - beds, sofas etc, but need to get the final touches like pictures, cushions etc

I had thought of bringing the drill and scewdrivers, but the suitcase is already pushing the weight limit as we are bringing some items from the UK.  Can anyone recommend a cheap but reliable person to do the needful with hanging pics etc and maybe putting together some Ikea chests of drawers ?? - no major construction work required!!

Also, we are in Jardin 11 and would be happy to meet up with some fellow purchasers for a beer wine, discussion of how Liverpool are going to win the league etc, and also to dicuss next weeks general meeting that looms on the horizon like a very dark and expensive cloud!!

You could try Mark on Jardin 10 he does our key holding and has put mirrors etc up very handy and very nice with it will, have find out which apartment number he lives in though.

You can buy a screwdriver and hammer set from Ikea for around 5 euros. Failing that we've used Steve to do anything from hanging curtain rails to taking out the bidet. He'll also collect and put together Ikea stuff for you if you want. I'll PM you his contact details.

We're also in Jardin 11 and have just come back . We're back over again at  Easter  (Counting the days already)

Have you had your electric meter connected yet ? Polaris initially told us we had then admitted we hadn't. You might want to ensure you have builders supply before you set off otherwise you could be stumbling around in the dark.
