Si & Me and the wee yin are flying in on the 19th and would love to meet up in the Surgery(bar) as Skell quite righly called it  on Saturday night as I know there are quite a few of us over then, so hows about it then, IS THAT A DATE??

Your right, mad as a hatter but Si is the stuffy one, but I also have my youngest daughter with me so mum will have to behave herself to a certain extent. She hates me dancing(only cause I am better than her and as for singing thats a definite, no,no) she just gets angry with me and sulks, along with her dad.

Sue now back after 5 weeks in the UK working her notice. Now we are both retired should be able to stop up late on Sat night in the surgery. See you all there !

Out of interest- are there lifts? We haven't been over to the penthouses to see for ourselves.

We have an aquaintance who was interested in the penthouses- although only top floor and then he got a bit concerned about the roof terrace but at the same time he was bothered about access for furniture, elderly relatives and he talked about hiking up all the stairs with shopping and luggage. We couldnt find anything about lifts at the time. Whilst all this doesnt sound too promising he has since said maybe he was too hasty so if anyone can add anything we'd pass it on to him.

Yes there are definatley lifts in all the Penthouse blocks.  Unfortunatley they are still connecting them up in most blocks.  I have asked mine to be connected this week - as I have a number of furniture deliveries this week - not sure if they have been though - I guess the poor sods have had to lump it all to the top floor!!    Sooner them than me.

As you it is a must......particulalrly for when we get older!!   Don't fancy lumping my clubs up there either every day........thats my excuse for securring a locker in the clubhouse sorted already!!

Thanks for the lift info (as a none golfer I hadnt even thought about getting sets of clubs up and down.)

The 'knee's up' sounds promising though I think a lift would be very useful after the knee's up too!!
