completion fee

has anyone had a completion statement and full breakdown of the 3500 euro completion fee?

Are you referring to stamp duty, notary fees, management fees and land registry fees, which total around 4,000 Euros, and are payable on completion ?

Not forgetting IVA and legal fees.  After we signed up we were told by an external source to allow 10-12% approx. to complete, which our agent failed to inform us of.

Sorry you were not informed of the Extra Fee.

Unfortunatly I`m a bit of a saddo and for about 2 yrs before we looked for a property I attended every holiday homes for sale seminar  at the NEC & local hotels& watched all the relivant programms on the TV.

As a result we were already aware of the extre 10% ( as it was until recently.)

However even knowing that we had to buget for this we too were not advised by our rep.

Who incidently was not a Polaris rep.

 I hope that with the current financial crisis these unknown extras wont be to much a burden on any one.
