Moving to Spain

Just thought I should warn you all about the sprinklers on the grass around the pool!  

After spending several days working hard - Carol (angelbabe) and I were enjoying an hour or so by the pool, relaxing on our towels and having a good natter when someone decided we had spent enough time chilling out and should be getting back to work!   Completely without warning the sprinklers emerged up from the ground and started spraying water all over us!!!

Both Carol and I were soaked, not to mention the towels, clothes and mobile phones that were all on the grass beside us!  And did anyone come to help?   NO!  Every single person in Jardin 12  stood laughing at us trying to rescue everything and getting soaked in the process!  

Apparently the sprinklers are on timers but I'm not convinced!  It seems strange to have sprinklers coming on in the middle of the afternoon when people are likely to be lying by the pool!  I am sure that some wicked PW gardener was hiding somewhere, having turned the sprinklers on and stood laughing to himself!

So you've been warned - beware of the sprinklers, ladies!!

As a bloke, I have to admit it's very difficult not to smile at the image of you two trying to scramble around gather everything up and escape the water spray while in shock and obviously rather angry. I have met Carol and think she has a great sense of humour, so I will assume you also like a good laugh when something funny happens. 
Given some time to calm down and assuming the water didn't damage your phones/electronic equipment, I think in future this incident has the potential to turn into a fantastic 'bar story'.

While me and Mrs WW were walking around the gardens, I have to admit, we did see two or three PW gardeners testing and re-aiming the sprinklers so the water they sprayed went onto the green areas and not all over the concrete paths. Makes sense I suppose, why would they want to water the paths?.

As a gentleman, I would (of course) have rushed to your aid but I can't honestly say I wouldn't have been laughing..........well until you or Carol slapped me anyway.

Not guilty!  I remain convinced that it was a PW gardener with a wicked sense of humour!

Have to admit it was funny - fortunately mobile phone did not get too wet and everything else (including Carol and I) were dry in about 5 minutes coz it was soooo hot!

No harm done and it seemed to provide folks with a good giggle for quite a while afterwards!!!

On a different subject, I think Carol must be having trouble with her internet, as she was due to collect her internet dongle thingy the day we were leaving but as she hasn't been on the Forum for several days, I am guessing there is a problem with it.  If anyone wants to get in touch with her, I do have her new Spanish mobile number.

Ok I believe you thousands wouldn't. Hope Carol returns soon, things have been quiet on here without her, but I suppose she will have to have a more professional attitude to this forum as she will be trrying to attract more business, so things might not be the same on her return.  Just got to wait and see.

oi oi I am still here BUT minus that Bl·$%&/ Dongle there is a massive backlog because this new network has been unindated with orders and the Area Manager who was sposed to be delivering these things is not answering phne or replying to emails so have a bad feeling he may have done a runner to Rio !!!

I am trying folks really I am and I am getting desparate as miss posting and am spending an hour and half each evening trying to email everyone and send out info so please please please bear with me and I will reply as soon as is humanly possible between work
