We have just stayed in our apt for the first time and have to say it was even better than we'd expected.The first week was a bit hectic trying to get everything done,but after that the next three weeks were amazing.We met lots of our neighbours a big hello to Collette n Colin, Sharron,Chris Josh n Abbie  ,Sheila, Carl n Family, Margo, Dave n George ( The big blue cat ),Lynn, Steve, Ben n Jake, Derrick n Sheila.Marie n Adrian, Geraldine, Mary n Rab, Alan n Irene, Oscar and his family ,Val and her numerous friends she had visiting, Antonio n family.I hope i've left no one out . While we were there we all decided to have a BBQ so we could get to know each other it was a great success. Hopefully it was the first of many.Also we really enjoyed The Friday Club, have you still been having them? We used the Manos bar when we were there and met a lovely girl who worked there called Fatima she was very friendly ,go in and  have a drink you'll see what I mean.The chines in Rojales is well worth a visit at just under 5 euros for a three course meal n a half bottle of wine per person. Sonias in Benijofar a great tapas bar n Trasgu in Formentera .If anyone would like any info on surrounding areas dont hesitate to ask n i'll help you if I can from water parks to driving ranges to aircon.We packed a lot in to our months holiday.

We know how you feel - it's brilliant being in Formentera!!! We did a similar thing on our second trip to our apartment  in Formentera (a year ago last June) and had a barbie where all were welcome and met loads of lovely people. 

Everyone is just sooooo friendly, especially the Spanish people in the village - everyone talks to everyone, not like the UK when you're lucky if you know your neighbours.

Just a point for you and all Brisas owners - check out the Mar Y Sol forum as well (if you haven't alredy), because you'll find loads of local info there too.

Hi All, must say we enjoyed our few days there last week, ( came back on monday ). Apartment was lovely just a few hiccups on the snags that want doing, hopefully will be sorted soon. It was very busy for us still have a lot to get but will do the rest of our shopping when we get back there in a couple of weeks.
Met a few people cant remember everyones names but everyone we met was great. Missed Sharon's party round the pool on the wednesday we got there which was a shame.  
Do like Manos met Carol and Marie who work there.
The fiesta was good on the Saturday night, heard there is a foam party tomorrow night in the square which i would love to of seen. 
Their is a few washing lines on the roof now we didnt put one up ourselves ( thought their was probaly enough up there) but we have used the one that Sharon was using I think it was Nigel and debbies, hope they dont mind.  
Cant wait to get their again we are taking my son and daughter hope they like it as much as we do. Hope to see some more of you soon we are their in October too.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, we don't mind if you used our lines(well we have got 4 )but we share them with Lynn n Steve who have the apartment next door to us.We are back out there 27 /10 /08 - 03 /11 /08 so may meet you then if you're out there for half term week.

Yes we still have friday club but its a bit smaller at the moment cos most people have gone home, so we had friday club mark 2, me,Karl Darren Alan, and a cople of others,
We are having a barbie when you next come out in oct, i will tell the others, Alan and Ilene, Derick and Sheila, Karl and Sheila etc that you send them your regards, Sheila wasn"t very well for a few days but she is ok now, Karl loved the peace and quiet around the pool but as i say she is back to normal now.

Still promoting the aircon and other building services pus the key holding it"s going ok

Hi Guys,

We had a great 3 weeks, and did not want to come home.  It was lovely to see you all, we have only been back a week but its seems much longer.  We met some lovely people (I think Debbie has covered most of them) and Margo had the great idea of the bbq which went so well.  Were hoping to come out in October for a short break, so we will be able to catch up with some of you again.

We had one incident where we were locked in on our floor, the entrance door to the floor would not open and the lift was not working, so Chris had to take out the window in the door so that we could climb in and out - which appeared so much easier on the way back from Mano's!!!

Just had a look at the photos, well done they look great , it was a great night, roll on the next one, but we had a little get together the other night and you would never guess who was dancing around the pool at half past two in the morning, Sheila  Kettle, HONEST !! pity but no one had a camera that night so we cant prove it but she and Derrick had a great time

Yes you would never have guessed would you, it was her birthday yesterday, we had cakes round the pool, they have gone back to the u.k today for 3 weeks, and yes she was blotto on wine, but to her credit she got up the next day and went to the hairdressers.

The photos of the BBQ are brilliant thanks to Sharron. We are really looking forward to coming over again in October.We are hoping the weather is still hot.
I have spoken to a few people who have said its gone cooler(28 degrees) hope its not a joke .We are over 3rd - 5th Oct then 27th Oct - 3rd Nov hope to meet 
up with you all again. Let me know if your'e over.I've heard off Lynn shes over with Friends & Jake but Colin & Colette aren't there until Xmas.
A big hello to Dave & Margo, Carl & Sheila ,Derrick & Sheila and all of the permanent residents who are looking after our interests even when we are not there.

 "The Friday Club "  On a Friday we meet at the pool, and around lunchtime ( ish ) we have a little drink or two or three just until the sun goes down.
Then we go to MANOS for a bite to eat and a little drink or two or three.Another week we all just met up at MANOS for a drink because some of us were
going home. Everyone is very friendly so just make yourself known and as long as you bring your own refreshments(no glass) thats it you're in "The Friday Club"
We are hoping to be there for a drink in MANOS on the Friday we arrive we are there from 3rd - 5th Oct so hopefully we'll meet up.
