A spanish perfect day
Monday, October 11, 2010 @ 1:52 PM

Yesterday, it was the date: 10-10-10 (October - 10 th.- 2010) and it was a perfect day, for many people, because it said that 10 is a perfect number.

More than 500 years before Christ, Pitagoras talked about the number 10 --as a perfect number, like for example the 6--, because it is the same like the sum of its divisors own. .If you add the numbers 1 - 2 - 3 - 4, the result is 10.

What is the first reason why we think that 10 is a perfect number?...., because we have 10 fingers, in our hands.

    The Bible has 10 Commandments.

When a psychologist wants to give advices on Love, gives 10 tips (Un Decálogo).

In 1979, Blake Edwards directed the film "10, the perfect woman" ("10, La mujer perfecta").

And I have thought that yesterday was "A spanish perfect day", because 2 motorcycle riders (Jorge Lorenzo and Toni Elias, in the categories Moto GP and Moto2, respectively), won The Motorcycling World Championship.

    Toni Elias tried to win in 2001 and 2003; but it was impossible.If you add 1 (from 2001) and 3 (from 2003), the result is 4 --as Pitágoras said: 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10 (2010)--.Let me the joke......

But, not those motorcycling recers were the only spanish sportsmen, who finished a very important race; This Sunday, Oscar Freire has been the first spanish ciclist, who won the classic race "París-Tours".

Also, another spanish sportsman won --although it has happened this last Saturday October 9th-- the Triatlon World Championship. His name is Javier Gómez Noya.

    Congratulations to Spanish Sport !!!!!!!
