Spanish singer: MOCEDADES

 At the begining, they wrer only 3 girls: Amaya, Izaskun y Estibaliz Uranga, with the name: Las hermanas Uranga = The Uranga sisters.Step by step, were uniting more brothers and friends to them and, so, they created the group "Voces y guitarras" = "Voices and guitars".After doing little shows in Vizcaya, they send some songs to several producers in Madrid.Then, the Producer Juan Carlos Calderón, talks to them and he was their Producer during 11 years.

   They chaged the name of the group to MOCEDADES.Then, in 1969, they got their first success: "Pangue Lingua" and, some years after, the song "Eres tú"; with this song, they represented to Spain in The European Song Contest, in 1973, getting the second position.If you want to watch the video of that moment, clic down here:

In 2004, in Holand, "Eres tú" was choosed as the best song in The European Song Contest.

In 1974, they published the album "Mocedades 5".

In1975, they published the album "La otra España".

In 1976, they published the album "El color de tu mirada".

In 1977 they published the album "Mocedades 8".

In 1978, they published the album "Kantaldia".

In 1978, they also published the album "Mocedades 10".

In 1980, they published the album "Amor".

In 1981, they published the album "Desde que tú te has ido".

In 1982, they published the album "Amor de hombre".

In 1983, they published the album "La música".

In 1984, they published the album "La vuelta al mundo de Willy Fog" (The soundtrack of the film with the same name).

In 1985, they published the album "15 años de música" (record in live).

In 1986, they published the album "Colores".

In 1987, they published the album "Sobreviviremos".

In 1992, they published the album "Intimamente".

In 1995, they published the album "Suave luz".

In 1997, they published the album "Mocedades canta a Walt Disney".

In 2007, they published the album "Mocedades canta a Juan Luis Guerra".

In 1980, they change their contract to the Company CBS (today SONY).

In 1995, they change to the Music Company, named DISC MEDI.

In 1972, Estibaliz and the brothers Blanco left the group.

In 1984, Amaya left the group, in order to start her own race, alone.

In 1988, Carlos Zubiaga and José Ipiña left the group; but, go into the group Iñaki Uranga.

In 1993, Ana Bejerano and Iñaki Uranga left the group; but Ines Rangil go into as a vocal.

Actualy, the group is formed by: Javier Garay, Izaskun Uranga, Luis Hornedo, Fernando González, and Rosa Rodríguez.Izaskun is the only one member of Mocedades, who stays from 1969.

Amaya started her race alone, but without success.She published 4 records, before going into the new group EL CONSORCIO.

Also, in 1973,Sergio Blanco and Estibaliz Uranga, left Mocedades and created their own duo SERGIO Y ESTIBALIZ.Actualy, they are in the group EL CONSORCIO.

In 1993, the group EL CONSORCIO was created by: Amaya, Estibaliz and Iñaki Uranga, Carlos Zubiaga and Sergio Blanco.
