A buen capellan, mejor sacristán = To good chaplain, better sacristan

This saying is used for condemning to someone cause not to have fulfilled its job.It is a postscript in a famous short story by Timoneda, in which the bad arbitration, by a sacristan, called in order to mediate among two companions at table (one clergyman and one layman) makes to exclaim so to the innkeeper.
