Another spanish saying and proverb 67
Tuesday, April 26, 2016 @ 7:07 PM

Today, I would like to tell, you, a well-known saying in Spain, which reads as follows: "Al pie del cañón" = "Ready for whatever may come".

This saying means staying, tirelessly, that --labor care, occupation,. deber--, which is entrusted. Thus, Agustina de Aragon, the legendary female from the site of Zaragoza, who cared, undaunted, giving fire, the guns of Defense, twice came to meet this adverbial. "Let´s see!. There was so much need, willy-nilly, I had to stand ready for whatever may come.".

Agustina de Aragón

Well, I hope that you have liked this saying --although perhaps you knew a similar than this one--.

Until my next post, kind regards,

Luis.
