Well thank you Luis and so very appropriate.
My husband has always eaten an apple every day and is very healthy.
We have a saying in the UK:-
'An apple a day, keeps the doctor away'
Which is precisely what your saying means, and is a much more cheerful saying than the one that reminds us all that death is just around the corner.
