Apartment long term rental advice please!

When I move to Duquesa I will be looking for a long term rental apartment that is near the beach, has 2 possibly 3 bedrooms, a communal pool, parking space and sky TV (for the better half!). Please can anyone advise what cost I would be looking at for all this. Also, what is included / not included within the rental, e.g. electric, water, telephone, communal charges, etc! How much bond / rent in advance is normally required? Just want to make sure I cover everything when budgeting the move.......

You are looking at around 600euro/month rental. For that you should get pool,sky etc included. Generally electricity is not included in rental fees. Most owners pay the community charges themselves so you shouldn't have to pay that. Deposit is usually 1 month rent,1 month security deposit and 1 month commission to the estate agent. The commission used to be paid mainly by the tenent but now days it is a renters market so the owner may agree to pay the full commission charge or you could agree to half it.  It may be worth having it there incase you find something you really like and the owner refuses to pay the commission,it is up to you to decide if you are willing to walk away if the owner refuses to pay it.

Thanks for the info - that was the kind of price I was looking at...Can anyone approximate how much extras like electric, telephone, sky, etc cost per month? I assume the telephone and sky will be pretty much the same as England and hoping the electricity will be cheaper - please correct me if I am wrong?

Can anyone recommend any decent apartment complexes near the beach in Duquesa and the best way about doing long term rentals? Is it best to go through an agency or are there private advertisers?
