Be careful when being sold a residential apartment and it is promised a full touristic marketing company to be provided, full furnitures, laundry spaces, front desk.. you may be buying a hotel...
It wouldn´t be first time. Ask your lawyer to check on Planning Permissions first of all.
Best,

Hi Maria,
Not exactly so María, since a few years ago, several developers have built buildings with a "guaranteed rental income".... that means that preferebly a hotel management company should look after the rentals on behalf of the clients by taking advantage of the existing brand and marketing strenght...... and also that the license should be for "Touristic Apartments" or Apartahotel..... So you actually are buying an apartment in a Hotel..... Wether or not you decide to sign a contract for the rental with the hotel management Co. is up to you.... you can very well use your apartment privatelly but can only rent trough the HMC... So, you may very well decide to buy an apartment in an Apart Hotel... and do with it more and less what you want within the guidelines of the community. The advantage is that normally this properties have ammenities that are not normally found in private buildings such as Spa, Gim, restaurant, room service, etc...
I am not a Lawyer but I´ve been working in the real state industry for years and personally sold dozens of apartments under the "apart hotel" scheme..... and every client is still a friend of mine... And every single one of them knew from the begining that it was going to be a apart hotel as it was stated in the building license and afterwards in the "Licencia primera ocupacion" for the english speakingmembers "first ocupation license". Not mentioning the website for the project since that was a hole in the ground.
Cheers,
Juan. _______________________ "I knew a lad that went to sea and left the shore behind him, I knew him well, the lad was me....... but now I can not find him" ( Old sailor´s song"?)
