Holiday today

In case you're not aware, today, 6th and Friday 8th are national holidays in Spain.  It also means that many people will take the Thursday off and do a "puente" (bridge) and get 5 days off in total.

Not everyone is off today though   :(

Also worth noting that after the Puente the Spanish will have dropped down a gear regarding getting anything done until after Three Kings on 6th January. There is a noticeable slow down and many of them will be using up annual holidays (and you thought they used it all in August) which they are not permitted to carry forward. Banks, lawyers, Notaries - all will be suffering staff shortages until 8th Jan.
