Justin gives some advice and buying and selling property in Spain

Today's show takes on a (slightly) more serious note.  Justin talks about some of the bargains available to people looking to buy a property in Spain and also looks at how the currect GBP/ EUR exchange rate can benefit those looking to sell their Spanish property.

Good point on the Euro exchange. We have reduced the price of our property by quite a bit and we should just be able to get our money back based on the exrate at the moment. We just need a buyer now lol

Yes excellent Justin my family have had the greatest diffculty in understanding how the exchange rate has made up for shortfalls caused by prices falling in Spain. Now I can just tell them to view your video and save myself having to try and explain.
On the other hand looking at the property website as you say there are some great bargains which helps people trying to purchase from the UK in sterling. As well as the fact lower property prices mean you pay lower tax on purchasing in Spain.

Dear Justin,

Good information for many people re. the Exchange Rate. We took full advantage of the weakness of the £ to the Euro recently for an investment and gained greatly on our original Exchange Rate of £'s to Euros. The only problem for people is how to sell their property at the moment with things going from bad to worse in Spain propertywise (and currently weatherwise!!).

Very interesting videos. My wife and I are moving out to Spain, hopefully in August or September and will be renting an apartment long term. Could you give some advice on property rentals from the renters point of view please.
