Autumn Bookings P&O Ferries Portsmouth/Bilbao Cancelled

With apologies if this has already been covered but I have only just seen a press release from P&O Ferries on 15th January, that owing to financial difficulties they have cancelled all ferries to and from Spain (Portsmouth/Bilbao and return) from 27 September 2010 onward. As a result I have just booked with Brittany Ferries instead but I reckon there could be a bit of a rush on this ferry if P&O have to cancel all their autumn bookings.
Anyway, thought some of you out there may like to know.
