Hi

Can anyone tell me how much notice a solicitor has to give to book a date at the Notary for signing to complete on purhasing a property ?

Is there a specific time limit ?  And what happens if you book a date and then have to rearrange it ?  Are there any penalties to pay ?

Thanks for any info

Hi cazb,

There is nothing to pay to arrange an appointment and no penalties for cancellation and re arranging.

You can normally book appointments as late as 24 hours before signing

Joan
