Planning permission needed?

Do you need planning permission to turn a balcony / patio into a room?

We have a large patio / balcony off our lounge which we never use as we also have a garden. I'd like to try and turn it into a playroom for our toddler, the idea would be to put in a ceiling / roof and windows. The bottom part of the balcony is a wall so that can stay ... we are not extending just sort of filling in? Does this sort of work require planning permission and do we need to change our escritura?

Ok thanks ... so it's maybe not going to be as soon as we hoped then! As this is a fairly small 'extension' is permission likely to be granted quite easily or could it be problamatic?

It is easy and you will avoid any surprise. You can leave the registration of the work for later.
