Can anyone help, I have bought and installed a camera for my computer to
keep in contact with a friend from the USA , is skype safe to downlad,and if yes
can anyone tell me what their official website is please.

J&N has it right. I use Skype to keep in touch with the USA. I've had it for about 4 years with no problems. I only use the audio not the camera bit. Very, very occasionally the sound quality is a bit flaky (but that's true for conventional phones too). I use Skype to keep in touch with my Estate Agent in Spain , and with my son when he is in China on business.Works well, no problems.
