OK, I am still looking for a bike, I am finding it hard as I can't get out to look for one at the garages/shops because I haven't got transport. So if anyone has any ideas where I can get a 49cc under 500 euros in the Mijas Costa area I would be SSSSOOOO happy!

What you need is a moped, Barney. 
I've got a great one, had it years since new. Am selling it before March as I'll get my bus pass then, yes More IS this old. 
Unfortunately it's in Zummerzet, UK. All black with a finish that twinkles in the sun.
Good luck, I know you've posted at least once before for one.

Just had a good laff. I saw a post on another forum from someone who said cheap moped wanted for fun ride to england As it says I am looking for a cheap moped, you know the type you have to pedal assist the engine at times. Am intending riding it back to England.
Cripes. Mine goes 38mph on the flat !!  Going to take weeks.

hi pal , if your still looking for a moped - we have a suzuki address 50cc june 2000- we brought it brand new and it has been sitting in my garage unused for the last 2 years-iit started first time yesterday---unbelievable! i will be putting it in the paper over the next few weeks for €500 but if you would like to see it - i will let it go for 450 - i live near chaparral.
