I travel regularly to a town called Marmolejo (7500 people) in Andalucia. 70% unemployment I am regularly told. Terrible, terrible terrible. However. There are probably less houses for sale now in the town than there were pre crisis. I don´t see any empty shops in the town centre. None of the bars have closed. Some close early but that has always been the case in autumn. There are  eight banks in the town.  You have to go early to certain cafe bars to be sue to get a seat for a meal. I have no doubht that the country is up the proverbial but I am just saying I don´t see it.
