Space in Van going to Spain.

Hi all,

i hope this is the correct area for posting this..... ok i will be driving from Swindon Wiltshire to Valencia at around the end of April beginning of May.

I will have a Luton Van which will have just under half a load free for someone wanting to take some stuff to Spain. Or if anyone is interested in sharing the driving / costs im sure we can work something out.

Hi Antonio, thread would be better in the "Driving in Spain" section but mods can move it easy enough if they notice..

Can you give us some idea on total costs to bring a van over and back? (only if you don't mind sharing the info). 

I posted on another thread last week that I reckoned it would cost close to £1000 in diesel (plus cost of ferry and tolls) to bring a transit over and back, which I compared to a courier using articulated lorry for less than a third of that cost.

Have you actually done the maths on it and do you know the capacity of your van?
