I have recently been made redundant so I have had to take the heartbreaking decision to find a new home for my boy so he can be looked after properly by someone who will able to offer him the very best nutrition and healthcare he needs.

He was born on December 29th 2010 and I paid 650 Euro for but he does not have pedigree papers. He is fully vaccinated, chipped and has the official document passing his blood test (you just need to pop down to an official vet with the document to have the pet passport rubber stamped which is free).

He is a beautiful loving dog who enjoys being around people. He has grown up with a kitten and he is very gentle. He is in great physical condition and has never needed to go to the vet for any injuries etc.He has never growled or barked at anyone and has never got into a fight with another animal.

If you are interested in giving my boy a loving new home then please reply to this thread explaining why you would like to have him. Please tell me as much about yourself as possible. If I am happy with what I read then you can meet my dog to see how you get along with each other.  (If you feel uncomfortable replying to this thread, send me a private message).

If you do adopt him I will go to the vet with you to get the chip information changed to your details.

I am looking for someone who has preferably owned German Shepherds in the past, or at least a similar type of dog. You must be able to give him the love, excercise and nutrition such a dog requires. You should also have a large house with some land and be financially stable.

Please do not email me if you plan to use him as a stud/guard dog - he is to be your companion for life and not a puppy machine or left on a leash to guard your house all day.

I realise I have written down a lot of requirements but he is my boy and I love him very much and therefore I only want the very best for him. With my unforseen financial situation I can no longer offer what he requires and hence this post.

Maybe you know someone who recently lost their companion and is looking for a new dog to fill that void?

Maybe you know someone who already has a GSD and would like another one to add to their family?

I live near Garrucha in Almeria. Get in touch via email if you are interested. Thanks for reading.
