Transport from Alicante Airport

 Well, according to this they are going to set up a direct bus service from El Altet (Alicante airport) direct to Torrevieja.  This has been talked about for longer than the Spanish DisneyWorld.  I wonder if it will, this time, actually happen?  (The bus service, that is, not the DisneyWorld).

And it's supposed to start this month.

I thought this was just a voting ploy when I heard the talk.  If it does go ahead it will save me 250+ a year yearly parking charge.

I don't think the people who run these business will be pleased if it goes ahead or the taxi companies.  I personally would use it from the airport but would be worried about using it to the airport just incase it broke down and I missed my flight.  That way the taxi's will still get business one way but the Elche taxi's will miss out on fares.

I wonder how it was before the Benidorm bus service was up and running.
