tourist train in Guardamar

Hi
We are travelling to Guardamar at the end of the month, we have been before but always hired a car but this time wont have a car, so i'm looking for public transport options. I have read onlne about a toursit train but there seems to be very little information and i'm finding it hard to figure out if its a tour guide type of thing or a regular service around the town? has anyone any info on it? Also is there a bus service around the town? we will be staying on juan Garcia near the Aparthotel. Love browsing this website and so looking forward to going back to Guardamar. Many thanks for any advise given. T
