Just a thought Jonny ... as I live nearby ... why did you think of asking about Quesada? I mean, of all places? I would think it is excellent for a young family, handy too for many places like Formentera del Segura, Guardamar del Segura, Rojales & Benijofar.

I'm moving to Quesada next month. My villa will be only 5 - 10 mins walk to the arches town center. I like Quesada after seeing it  twice only. I met a lot of people around my villa & they're all very friendly & most of them are from UK or Scotland. It's like an English town in Quesada. There're a lot of shops here & I don't even need a car to do my groceries. There're banks, schools, medical, restuarants, etc.

Georgia (in this forum) covers this area & he will be able to tell you more about Quesada. I'm looking forward to my move.

Hi there Forhotspot, did you enjoy your visit earlier, you were staying in a rental at Lo Crispin, weren't you?

Did you get to our Sunday market,  commonly referred to as the lemon tree one? Another Sunday one has recently opened too just along from us, behind the Procomol shop on N332, three to choose from now on a Sunday.

Hi More,

We stayed at atalaya near my villa instead. Thta's how I got to meet my surrounding neighbors. We went to Zocco sunday market instead. I need a car to get there. Probably will just be going to Rojales market when I move over unless I join 1 of my neigbors.

 hi moerosendo,

thanks for that,.. the reason why is that we were looking at the long term rentals on this site and lots of them mention the award winning town of cuidad quesada, so we thought that we be a good place to start our search,. if you could recommend  any other areas that would be really helpfull.

thanks...jonny
