New Free to air & Freesat channel - just scan in to your satellite receiver

Has anyone else booked with Easyjet recently and been offered a £10 discount of your next flight? I was and I "clicked here" as requested to claim my £10. This takes you to a company called Shopper Discounts and Rewards. I filled in my details and a couple of weeks later my £10 cheque arrived. I didn't think any more of it apart from getting the odd email from them offering me discounts for shopping online with certain shops. Then today I was brousing the main forum and someone had posted a note about the £8 monthly charge for being a member. I checked and they were right! Somehow Shopper Discounts and Rewards had got my bank details - must have been from my Easyjet booking because I am certain I would never have given them the details- and were charging me £8 a month for being a member. Luckily it is easy to cancel your membership. Just go to their website and there is a cancel membership option.

It is important to be on the ball in respect to these methods employed by airlines to create extra revenue,we all realise they lead you onto making decisions during your booking online and you have to take positive action to remove their insurance or baggage options and in your case rewards for subscription schemes.
