We are just back & as promised have taken some pictures of your property which we will attempt to download tomorrow (feeling a bit weary tonight after 5 very full days in Spain!!)

Your plot looks fantastic - the walkways between the quads have all been planted out with olive trees & really pretty climbing plants etc which will bloom in a multitude of colours. The benches look good & the lights do to.

Unfortunately we will not benefit from this as we are on Calle Mandarino & the only people who will be able to gain access to the walkways are the people living in them as they have now put gates across the parking areas & only those residents will have a key.

This was not explained to us when we purchased & we only found that out this weekend.

The other public areas haven't even been started apart from the palm trees which have been there for some time.

Thanks for the great photos of our house you posted. Everything on site looks as if it is coming along nicely. As you say, the planting makes such a difference and it's amazing the changes in even a couple of weeks to the look of the place!  Once they start to plant the main open areas I think the whole development will  look stunning. Unfortunately,we are not going out again until February  (unless Santa pops a couple of return flight tickets in my stocking) and we are missing the sunshine already!

Sorry for being ignorant, but where is Calle Mandarino ? Is it on the Hacienda San Cayetano site ?

Calle Mandarino is the name of the main road between the quad villas on manzana 3 and manzana 4 on Hacienda San Cayetano.

Don't know if you have a copy of the site plan or have been out to the site recently but if you do, or have, then you may be able to make some sense of my description of where  Calle Mandarino is situated.

The road that the Taray office is on is Calle Limonero. If you can locate the quad showhouses, the the roadside quad is on Calle Mandirino. To the left of these quads you find the inner walkway and the road to the left of the inner walkways houses is Calle Melocotonero. I got this information from the back pages of my purchase contract, but it doesn't mention properties due to complete after ours ( Feb 07) .  Also the roads surrounding the detatched villas and the completed  penthouses and bungalows are not identified on my plan so it may be that the streets are only identified on each relevant phase as contracts require.

It might be nice if others could post with information they have             on the other road names and we could build a map for the whole site.

What is it you have purchased and when do you complete?

Our contract states that we are on Calle Mandarino which is the furthest road away from the show houses i.e we are in the same block of quads as you, but behind. (On our original contract this road had a different name so this may be confusing people). On our plans the roadside quad is on Calle Meloconterro (Peach Tree Lane - as Kevin & Sheila translated for us)

The road where the Taray office is Calle Carrascoy on our contract & Calle Limonero is the other end nearer the swimming pool (or proposed swimming pool!!!!!)

It sounds like on your plan they have put the roads the opposite way around so who knows what our road name will end up as! Hopefully it will all become clearer nearer the time.

Interesting as you say to know what other people have on their plans

I just want to confirm what Sue & David say. Our plan corresponds exactly with theirs. I guess your address will also be Calle Melocotonero, seeing as that's where your access is from?

I forgot to mention that I posted 6 photos from our November visit to San Cayetano (see 19 November 2006 - 3113).

Photos 1 & 2 show our soon-to-be neighbours, the San Cayetano goats. Photo 3 is looking along Calle Melocotonero from the quad show house. Photos 4 & 5 were taken from our balcony at no. 7 (no. 47 on the original plan) overlooking Peach Tree Lane and showing a road with an unknown name that runs behind the single villas towards the phase 1 apartments, alongside the 'green space'. (Does anyone know the name of this 'calle'? Photo 6 shows the inner walkway, and features Ken & Elaine's house, no. 5F.
