Yes.

Just take your passport and a copy of your house/apartment address (included in your information pack on completion) to the Town Hall in Vera.

Take a ticket from the machine, wait your turn, and present yourself and the information for the clerk. Takes about 10mins, then you get the appropriate certificate a couple of days later.

No confusion, no big deal, simple and easy with no mystery involved.

Forgot to mention that you had to go back to the Town Hall to collect the certificate.

Have not set up a D/D for the payment of the local taxes as they are not applicable until 12 months after you completion date, but yes, you have to take a ticket and wait, but don't worry, sometimes there are no others waiting so you can go straight in, and the queues are never that long.
