We found out on our recent visit that they have decided to keep the temporary clubhouse now until after the hotel has been finished.  The clubhouse is perfectly adequate but we felt that owners should know this before buying golf privileges.  This means that if you do buy a privilege now you are not going to benefit from the clubhouse facilities, lockers etc for a couple of years.  We enjoyed our lunch on the terrace overlooking the lake but it is very close to the 18th green so you do feel as if you could be in the firing line!  One golfer's ball hit the changing room door!  The food was good, De Vere staff friendly and it really was busy.  You have to book a buggy a week in advance and the booking desk gets very congested.  Has anyone bought a golf privilege yet?  They do seem expensive but I am told they can be sold on with the property. If you are renting then I do not see how your visitors will benefit.  Will they get reduced rates too? Has anyone done some homework on this as I get confused everytime I look at it.  The Clubhouse staff told me that to make it pay you need to be planning to play golf more than 20 times a year.

I have bought in Corvera and would be interested in how much the Golf priviledge card is - do you know this ?  Any more info on the golf would be apreciated.

The Priviledge Card currently is 12,000 Euros single and 17,000 Euros Family.  Then you have your subscripition, this can be paid monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually.  The longer period you pay the bigger discount. For example individual monthly subscription is 300Euros but for the year it would be 1,000euros.  Hope this helps.

The new club house with a panoramic restraunt will overlook the 7th green, which is the signature hole surrounded by water.I was told by a member of the Devere staff the opening date would be sometime in the second half of 07, a year B4 the hotel which will be 5*.

They have now started construction of the club house. The cranes and workmen were in full action when we were there yesterday. Its difficult to judge which green it will overlook, so maybe those of you who will be visiting in the next few weeks can establish if its the 7th or 9th green or maybe it will overlook both.

The clubhouse from what I could see has changed location from where it is situated on the model at the sales office.  Originally it was to be in the commercial area and the area behind the driving range where the clubhouse it too be located now was green space.
