I have managed to obtain a copy of the Horizontal Housing Chapters of the Civil Code in English and have it on Disc.
Also I have added some local rules for Owners that could be of use to the Condo from past exeperience of being involve in the issues that cause most problems.
The 6 Ps cover it all, Pets, Parking, Pools, People, Payments, and Property!
The problem for the Assembly is the rules will need to be pre viewed by the Owners so they could with luck vote them as part of the Statutes at the meeting.
Without this happening we will have to wait a year for the next General Assembly, or call a Special meeting to deal with rules.
Without this rules the new Board of Directors will have no legal guide lines to work with, and this can be very difficult when trying to deal with any problems on our behalf.
By the way no rules mean just that! and you should not be supprised to know that some individuals may make your life less than enjoyable in your new home. The Board will have no power in Law as the Assembly did not pass the rules to help them.
Please all be willing to suffer a longer meeting than the Developer wants to run, and try to help the new Board from day one.
