Hello

Can anyone tell me if you get information on options for new apartments whilst on the inspection trip?  Things such as built-in fridges, dishwashers, and washing machines?  If so, any idea on prices quoted?  Had another look at brochures on Jardines apartments and am even worrying that their may not even be space for the aforementioned white goods!!!!  Still no word on actual room sizes yet - unless anyone else knows differently??

Hello AJW,

Options for extras such as white goods and such should be readily available for you to price and view during your trip (depending on who it is with of course). Polaris World Homestyle is a part of the business that can take care of that for you but I suspect they might be expensive and as these products are all standard sizes, I would be tempted to look at some local retail outlets too. The other side of Murcia city are many good retail parks that have loads of this kind of stuff (25 mins away).

In the Jardines apartments, the oven & hob & extractor hood are all included - there is room for a fridge freezer and a washing machine but not room for a dishwasher (after you complete on the property - you can of course fit one but at the expense of a cupboard). There are some images of the kitchen that i can send to you if you wish - it is an american style kitchen (which means that it is entegral to the living room with a counter spearating them).

Regards room sizes, Polaris World are loathe to publish them but in fact the bedrooms are a reasonable size (generally all Polaris World rooms are similarly sized). When you visit the Polaris staff are very knowledgable and can give a very good idea of the size of your rooms by comparing to the show apartments. The bathroom is a good spec and ok size too. They will be able to demonstrate paint finshes, tiles, bathrooms, wardrobes,e tc that are exactly the same as you will buy.

It is very easy to buy from this developer as they are very professional - but take your time and be sure. Come back to me if you need any further advice. I know this company very well and own 2 Polaris World properties myself.

Jamie,

I don't know if you know about the actual layout of the kitchen, the plans for the Jardines show a type of breakfast bar on the lounge side of the kitchen but plans for the Naranjos Jardines show the same area as full width base cupboards which I think will be alot better giving as it's a small kitchen. Also do you know if there are any storage cupboards, they don't appear to be on the plans but I have got a 2 bed 1st floor and where the stairs go up to the roof terrace I'm sure one could be fitted here.

We hadnt realised the kitchens are different in the Naranjos Jardines and the Los Jardines- will the apartments be slightly different in size in reality? They are advertised as the same but we know in reality things may change. The various sites seem always to show the three bed in 3D virtual reality and the same Jardines plans for Los Jardines, Naranjos and El Mirador

We have also wondered about that space beneath the terrace staircase- ideal for storage of personal items if needed- when the place is locked up or rented.

We have a vague memory of being told we could have a walk in shower rather than a bath- but we were told so much. Can anyone add to that?

Hello everyone,

Wow! You guys have really thought this through! I'm not too sure of the detail but will ask my agency and reportt back what they say - I'm heading up to site tomorrow so should be able to ask some of these questions to the staff there and also report back.

Will let you know,

Jamie

Thanks Jamie,

We have tried to work the room sizes from the the details at base of our plans for the Los Jardines 2 bed. Just so curious about everything and its frustrating that we can't get back over for a while. Should have booked flights a while ago for half term but didnt and now they are relatively expensive when we can only stay a few days. Never mind always get good feedback from everyone on these threads, which is appreciated..

One step ahead of you, already booked for 19th October for a week staying on La Torre. Camera will be coming as well so I'll post the photo's when I get back. Booked it in Easter but still seemed expensive. Also got booked up for August next year with Jet2 very good rates for family of 4.
