Is there anyone else thinking of living there in the near future?

I understand its going to be the second largest town in Murcia county , only Murcia city being larger.- hard to believe-  I think Condado de Alhama means county of Alhama anyone know anything about the political set up for a developement on this scale? Its just like the private towns in USA. We will have to get a sheriff etc- sorry getting carried away now. Its the - desert and them there hills.

We were fortunate enough to go to Murcia for the May Bank Holiday Weekend.  There was lots AND lots of cranes on-site, I have downloaded some photographs to view.

The motorway network has improved dramatically since we were last there in August, with the road due to open later this year which will improve the road links to the site.

The sales office was open and we spoke to the lady who said everything was still on schedule with the Jardines area full of cranes as you can see from the photographs.

We were able to spend a little bit of time in Mazarron which has had a great deal of money spent on the harbour area and should be about 10-15mins away on the new road.  You will be pleased to hear the weather was fantastic whilst we were there!

Next visit in August, we will take some more photographs then.

Just got back from Murcia and taken lots of video time which I will post soon. Work has progressed further  some blocks have been rendered . Roads in area fantastic . One road  to Cartagena seems completed and due to be opened in 2 months. Takes 15mins to beach .  Toll road from Mazarron to Cartagena completed  €4.75 -  45 mins to airport  San Javier. Still giving end of 2008 completion . I am impressed with amount of work done. Local newspaper reports completion of desalinisation plant, operational early 2008 when electricity supply completed. Enough water for Murcia and parts of Alicante.  Stayed on La Torre  which has improved a lot since last year when a lot of properties still being built.

Quite a few people use youtube for home video clips. Never done it myself though so don't know the exact process. Look forward to seeing it.

Thanks for the videos, a bit stilted must be our broadband connection.  Good to see the progress.  We have been out to Murcia for the weekend Fri teatime - Sunday night.  The weather has been fantastic, shame we had to stay in a hotel, looking forward to chilling in our own apartment.  Let's all keep sharing the photos/videos progress.

Great videos, it's amazing to see how much has been done. We were out there in April and all that was on site was earth moving vehicles.

I noticed a few of the blocks have also been rendered as well as been bricked up.

Out there in a few weeks, can't wait.
