hi all amarionaires  I've found the amarion 1 site and it seems all is not well with the completed building.   They have only recently had the use of the pool.  They  now have a problem with one of the lift shafts. Are we going to have these type of problems after waiting four years for the building ?  It looks as if it'll take another four years to get it right and that will take me well into my twilght years but never mind at least i'm not bored .

Oh no, that doesn't sound very good does it? If they owe land registry amongst others with not much left in the pot, we dont stand much chance of getting our apts or the money back we have all laid out!!!

Oh dear, thanks for the info Haydn, any info is better than none isn't it?

If we hear any more we need to register our interest if they are going to go bust or we WILL lose everything.

Phil, could you ask your contact ,if she finds anything more at this meeting?

Cheers all

Notice sent to all Amarion 1 owners sorry not good news

EXTRAORDINARY MEETING 22 JUNE 2007

Dear Owners,

I am writing to inform you that myself Jon Wood, Simon Stewart and Trinni (administrator) have negotiated with Grupo Urbasa in claiming 44 storerooms, but it needs to be dealt with IMMEDIATELY!! as they have very few assets left, the longer we wait the more chance somebody else will get in first. That is why we have called this extraordinary meeting which is to be held on the above date.

We have been doing some investigating into Grupo Urbasa and also talking to them for some time and as you all know very well they have severe financial difficulties. It also appears that they also owe the Land Registry quite a sum of money.

Grupo Urbasa have been paying off their debtors by giving them assets in exchange of money of which they have very little left. Again as you know we as a community should have started proceedings against them at least 18 months ago to stand a good chance of being awarded anything.

Once we have these storage rooms we can sell / rent them with in the community to raise the money to finish an ever increasing backlog of repairs that have been long overdue and make this community what it should have been from the start.

Please return your Proxy forms A.S.A.P so we can act on this IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

Regards Christine and Graham

Hi all tried to get in touch with our solicitor in Spain but they close Friday at 2 and are not back till Monday. Sorry only just checked the computer.

Just spoke to a friend in Spain we need to really act fast if its come to this as they have just been biding their time by the looks of it now. John is all for booking a flight and sitting outside their office on Monday! None of us can just lose all that money its just too much to write off!

Hi All

Further to the meeting today re Amarion 1. Our friends have contacted us to let us know that creditors of Urbasa are seizing assets, they have agreed to give 44 storerooms to the administrator of Amarion 1 as recompense to outstanding debts. Dont know where we go from here, our friends have given us the name of someone who MAY be able to help us, who has been working for them in dealings with Urbasa, we have dropped her an e-mail on behalf of all of us, and will keep you all updated as soon as we hear back - if we hear back.

Kind Regards

Christine and Graham

Hi Phil I dont think ringing is getting us anywhere, they can say anything to us over the phone, but face to face ?  I am going to ring our solicitor first.thing Monday morning and if she thinks we would gain anything by going over, I will get the first flight. Sorry guys, but I think all the talking has been done. Someone somewhere has answers and we have got to get the truth. Are they going bankrupt or are they going to finish what they have started? It certainly looks like they are going bankrupt to us. I will ask a solicitor to be with us as an interpreter.

Will let you know when I have spoken to her. The last time we were over our solicitor was convinced after phone calls to Urbasa that the work would be completed but could not say when. Now with all this new information, things look so different!

Cheers

John and Trish

I feel John and Trish you are doing what most of us would do if we could, and hope you can get some answers ,as for along time we have all been getting the run around. I do hope for all our sakes you do get the truth and find out how we can  all resolve this.

Hi JPD just been reading all your messages, when I put my message on the other nite saying I did think it would be finished at some point, but maybe having a few doubts now but I am prepared to fly out to Spain and go with you to Urbassa to try and sort something out,and I am willing to help pay towards the costs of your solicitor etc of whatever help we need to get to the bottom of all this.I know you don't know me from Adam but I am honest and reliable and won't go back on my word, and like yourself I can get a flight when needs be.Maybe not from the same airport as I am in Lincolnshire but am willing to work with you and share the expence. Regards Gabe.

Hi Gabe, will let you know what the solicitor advises on Monday. We are in Hull Yorkshire so not too far away. We have an apartment in Playa Flamenca so there would be no expense for accommodation. Lets hope we can do something.

Speak soon and thanks

John and Trish
