Hi all,

Katie and I have now completed, and been living on-site for nearly 3 weeks and are loving it!  No habitation license yet, but some facilities are in place (including swimming pool!), and we hear the license is imminent (again)! Conecta4 (phone people) have not yet bothered to connect us despite many conversations, and english telly is not available yet, though apparently the dish is connected. They are just not bothering to come until more people are in - obviously not worth there while, at the moment!

Will be glad to help out with any questions - be patient if I don't get back straightaway as no internet from the apartment yet.

cheers,

Steve and Katie.

12th June, 2007: amendments to above. Our telephone was connected yesterday and is working well. Sigrid has informed us that the first habitation license is granted and will be in place from Wednesday 13th June, and asked us to inform our lawyer's!

Hi All,

Our Spanish lawyer told us that there is a problem with the electricity supply and that if we complete now we will be on the builder's supply, which is lower power.

Is anyone else in this situation, or aware of a problem with the electricity supply?

Patrick

Hello Patrick,

Although we have completed we are not travelling out until the 2nd August so have not had need to use utility services. We have signed for electricity and water supply and expect all to be ok when we arrive. If you are made aware of any problems perhaps you will let us know.

Regards,

Brian routledge

In response to Patrick's questions:

we have not been informed of any problems with the electricity supply by our lawyers, who are working to draw up the contract.

We have been using the builders electricity supply since we have lived on site (around six weeks now) and had absolutely no problems (except for a power cut which lasted all of 5 minutes)!

Cheers,

Steve

Hi Steve,

 Thanks for your reply.

I think that the point that our lawyer was making was that the electricity supply is not completed yet, and that we would be dependent on the builder until some unspecified time.

But anyway, we will probably sign up just the same.

Patrick
