Pool Covers

Hi,

 We visited SG on the 12th and found work to be at a standstill on the near-ready sections.

Spoke to the lady in Masa office but she could not help. She gave us a number to ring in Alicante for further information.

Our agent was in Alicante on Thursday and was told that the stoppage was due to the fact that no water supply connected to SG as yet and that they were waiting for the pipeline to be laid in. The earliest  estimated time would be end June...ish, but not certain. Having looked around the site and taken some more photos, I reckon September .

 As you can see from the photos, electricity is not  yet connected, the roads are not finished, garden walls and gates are not finished. If the water supply is not yet on site, then there iis no way that it will all be finished before works stops for the July/august holiday.

Sad as that may be, my money is on September.

I have put some photos on, where I could match a name with a property, so you may recognise your house if you take a look. Tried to take a video but  did not the  brightness on Auto, so the pictures were ruined!

Many thanks for the info. and photos. Like everyone Pete and I are getting a little fed up with the saga.

Unfortunatly I work in a school so I am restricted to school holidays. Last summer we thought we would drive out, this year we are not making any plans.

One day we will get to meet each other.

Hi all,  Yesterday I E-mailed Masa asking for completion dates etc and reasons for the delays and lack of communication. This is the reply.    We understand you concern about completion. The fact is your property is completely finished and furnished, but cannot be handed over yet as the infraestructure is to be completed ( ie water & elaectricity connections etc).  As far as we know the works are being carried out at this moment, the most advanced being M-13, M-14, M-15 and M-16, these will be the first to be released.  It then goes on to say that the first handovers will not be to long, but still no date available, I suppose its just another way of saying SOON.  I think that if we all start bombarding them with E-mails complaining about lack of info etc it might just wake them up, and make them realise we are not just there to be messed about. So come on get those E-mails flying.           The E-mail address is       atencionalcliente@grupomasa.com.                                We might not do any good but it must be worth trying.

Have e-mailed Masa hopefully in spanish but I'm not holding my breath waiting for a reply.  When I eventually get there I shall be doing a few car repairs etc, a bit of mobile welding, if Dominick is interested in joining forces e-mail me at bedspring@lineone.net  I obviously don't want to step on anyones toes.

In reply to your email, we have to say that we understand your concern about
the completion of your property. The fact is that although the property
Albatros is completely finished, it cannot be handed over yet and we have
not been confirmed about a date when it can be, as the necessary
infraestructure works need to be completed.
As far as we know, the infraestructure works are being done at this moment.

If we have not contacted you before about the handover is because we have
not been confirmed yet a possible date for the handovers, although we have
to say that the first handovers will not take too long, because as we have
said above the infraestructure works are very advanced.

As soon as the properties can be handed over in Sierra Golf, we will let
you know

Hi All

I understand that MASA may be to some degree ignoring e-mails, but if we wrote suggesting that we are looking for compensation for the delays that we have experienced, perhaps through the Spanish legal system as MASA have not honoured their contracts it might spur them on to at least povide some more information to us all.

Any thoughts?
