Hi

We were due to have our inspection visit next week (block 20 on phase 1) but have heard nothing from Keymare, since the initial letter.  I telephoned Keymare today but found it very difficult to get any common sense from anyone - they are now saying that the inspection will possibly not be until w/c 28th May at the earliest, but Venonique's English isn't great and I'm not totally clear on what she was saying.

Has anyone else been able to find out any further information on their inspection visits - it's driving me mad as we're due to complete at the end of June and I've no idea if these dates will now go back.  We're due out on holiday during the second week of July so things are getting very tight!

Thanks to those people who have done their inspections and posted their findings - it's been really useful.  Our only concern is having no pool until August - this is bad news!

Debbie

We are also in block 20 and were told by Keymare (Yesterday)  that our inspection visit will be w/c 21/5. This has been delayed by one week according to the schedule that was sent out. This will probably mean that the completion date will slip by a week also (which was 29/6 - 5/7) but then who knows. We have booked flights for the first 2 weeks in September,, I will be pretty sick if we haven't completed by then!!

Many thanks for your post - interesting that you've been told 21st May when another purchaser I'm in touch with in Block 20 has been told 29th!  Are you speaking to Veronique or someone different.

It's a bit of a worry that we're all getting different stories.  We're supposed to be going out for two weeks holiday from 8th July - this may now be a bit dodgy!  I just wish they would communicate out officially, to everyone, so we all have the correct facts and can plan ahead!  The joys of buying in Spain I suppose!

We're block 19 and, in theory should inspecting the same week as block 20.

Ursula at Key Marekeeps saying it won't be long but we're still waiting. we bought throug Medsea Estates who also seem to have gone to ground!

Anyway, things could be a hell of a lot worse. It's really just a minor irritation compared to other things that are going on in the world!

We are in block 26 and have confirmation that our visit is 4th-8th June.If we can't go then we won't be allowed to go onto the site until after completion. We have also been sent the documents for water and electricity connection and a document for stating how the final payment is being made.

Also recieved info from Veronique at Keymaresaying inspection visits fot block 20 will be between 4th and 8th of June. This now represents a slip of 3 weeks from the initial inspection dates which probably means completion at the end of July. We bought through  Medsea Estates and they are doing the inspection visit on our behalf.

The letter also says we must pay 150 euros to cover expenses of the common sites such as Lightening (I think they mean lighting), irrigation, cleaning etc. This is a new one on me, I thought that the community charge was meant to cover all aspects of maintaining the complex. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure that we get a choice with completion??  In our case we can only get over in September and we have given our solicitor power of attorney for completion.
