Hi! Coming from Spanish, I often hesitate with to be since it replaces both ser and estar. For native Spanish speakers who achieved fluency: how did you train your brain to just use to be naturally without constantly checking the "ser vs. estar" rules in your head?

That makes so much sense! I never realized I was forcing English into a Spanish mold. Shifting focus to the context is incredibly helpful.

English is much lazy in this case, so take advantage of it. Once you stop fighting the rules, speaking feels way smoother!
