farm smell & flies?

Hi, we have reserved an apartment in Oasis complex and went to inspect the area last weekend. We love the resort but we noticed a strong smell from nearby farms. After checking tripadvisor we learned that several visitors noticed same issues with smell from pig farms and flies during high season.

I would appriciate feedback from any owners who can give me honest feedback based on your personal experience

As with any countryside area there is sometimes a strong agricultural smell. In our experience the smell doesn't last very long and it is whether you can get used to it. We haven't been in the high season but know that in any hot country flies are plentiful in the countryside. 

You just have to decide if you can live with nature  in a very nice environment.

Welcome to HDA, unfortunatley this is normal for ths development because of the pig farms that are cloe by but it also varies depending on where you are on the development, tends to be worse by the main gate

We have a property on Hda and La Torre and find that there is a problem with flies on both resorts in the summer, as for the smell from the pig farms at Hda we can honestly say that it is not a constant odour and is more noticeable in the hotter weather, I wouldn't let this put you off purchasing on Hda because of this, Hda is a wonderful resort and we always look forward to returning.
