I tend to agree John & Wendy, the planned changes seem to put them at odds with the rest of the resort. Even things like using an airer to dry washing will mean it's on show to all. The developer is planning on packaging in everything like A/C, lights, white goods, etc to help justify the price.

For those who haven't seen how they will look: http://www.lavidaspain.com/property/RM51.php

What I want to know is where they will be parking as our block 271 has had to overflow into 272's area.

We have an apartment on Phase 1 which looks south west across the golf course towards the new blocks. Having had a view of the cranes for the last year, anything will be an improvement! I quite like the look of them to be honest. I like diversity rather than uniformity. A splash of colour and something a little different to break up the view of rows and rows of white apartments is a good thing in my opinion.

The glass fronts are another matter. I wouldn't want people viewing my terrace or want to be viewing other's terraces. Anything that reduces privacy is a bad thing in my opinion.

As for parking, there does seem to be a lack of spaces in that area of phase 2. From the plans, blocks 268-270 and 272-276 appear to have 1 space per apartment. Block 271 looks to be about 10 spaces short. Perhaps the area opposite block 285 was originally planned to be the overflow area for blocks 271/272?

I look forward to the day that parking spaces are an issue - in our block 50% of the block is owned by the banks so there isn't exactly a pressure on where to park!  If I am honest we always park in the shade on a bay that belongs to an empty apartment.  Shocking I know!!!!

Let's hope they do sell all the new apartments so we can complain about them pinching our parking spaces - as long as the spend money in the clubhouse and pay their community fees it will still be a bonus.

As for the blue - yuck!  But I have to admit it does look more modern.  Let's hope the higher price for the new apartments helps to clear some of the empty older plots to bring in more community income.
