Huge Socamex Bill

Yes, the issues have been discussed at a Level 2 meeting which I brought up, ML are going to speak with not just socamex but iberdrola about disconnections but mainly the water issues.

We need a stop tap immediately after the meter as well as in the apartment, unfortunately as in the UK the owner is responsible for water pipes that run on his land/property up to his house.

I will leave this issue now to the next L2 president who will be taking my place...

Sounds reassuring and something which should have been installed at construction stage.  But, if you speak to those of us who have been billed Eur 1000 plus, I think the common thread will be that leaks are not the issue, and its more to do with thieving b*******s since Socamex took over.

Go for re-election Chaddy.  CdA needs people who have the guts to speak up and be noticed.

I will try to keep updated but will probably be cut off in any future meetings Mr keeve!!!

Hi all, we have a ground floor penthouse and have just been billed for 998E. Have spoken to Socamex but with no joy, thet said we have a leak and need a plumber. Have asked Mileniun to intervene but not hopeful.

My intent is to involve my Spanish solicitors. We can't let them get away with this.

Any advice or comments welcome.

I'd be very surprised if anyone gets to the bottom of this.  It's a scam - end of.

I've been through the mill with this.  Milleniun are not interested,  Socamex, the culprits, are laughing at us.  The ''very helpful guy'' who lives on the Jardins and works for Socamex is not interested.  The Guardia Civil are not interested,  The Town Hall couldn't care less particularly the Consumer Department.  The presidents blow hot air and nothing happens.  The Ombudsman in Madrid thinks a scam in Condado should be dealt with by EU bureaucrats in Brussels!!!

Who's next I wonder?  So, decision time, it's pay up or sell up.  I decided to sell up.  But I had already paid.............

         We came back in September and had a bill from Socamax for €3I70.We proved we had no leak,no breakage and no one in the appartment for three months.Our solicitor is dealing with the matter but we are still  no further.We asked level 2 president to discuss the situation but heard nothing.We are still hopeful, but it is a most stressful situation. I have no idea what presidents can do about this!  Email me @condadokey@gmail.com and I will raise at next L2 meeting in March, there is a gent there who works for Ayuntamiento..maybe he will have an idea,

It was raised at a Level 2 meeting by me, it was discussed and ML were to speak to Socamex and Iberdrola, it is in this thread if you read it all.

It is now up to next L2 Presidents to continue and push this further as I am no longer L2 President, it is in the previous minutes, ask you L2 President to bring it up again and ask for an update guys and girls, dont be fobbed off and keep the faith.....
