Hello there,

We are renting our apartment out for the first time this year. We were wondering how much the costs for electricity would be on avarage for one week when the airco is used intensively.

We would be grateful if anyone could give us an idea.

Greetings,

Marian and Ahmed Bachik, block 269

I would say €60 a week would cover very heavy use of both utilities.

You do know you can set up both electric and water accounts online so you can monitor them both from the UK.

Richard

Is it quite easy to set up accounts so they can be monitored from the UK ?

Our suppliers are WATER HIDROGEA S.A. and  IBERDROLA GENERACION, S.A.

I'd love to see how they arrive at their costs !

All you need is a bill for both companies plus an email address, they do have it in English.  If you get stuck send me a private message with your email and I can help.

As above its easy if you have a bill .

If your like me and don't have one from either supplier its a little more difficult but it can still be done.
I wrote a guide the other day with step by step instructions on how to set up both accounts If you don't have a bill ,only to go and delete it by accident.......

Ibedrola is the easier of the two you can call them ( English speaking) and they will talk you through it.

Hidrogea is the one I had problems with, it has to be done through there website contact us page, a few mistakes by them made it take longer than it should of but we got there in the end.

Regards

Richard
