Hello there,

Who has experience in getting internet (wifi) in the apartment. What would be the average costs and what would be a good provider.

We heard when we bought the apartment last year that Las Terrazas might get internet all through the park in the future. Did anyone hear something more about this.

Another question is about the costs of cable tv and provider.

We are renting our apartment out for the first time this year. We were wondering how much the costs for electricity would be on avarage for one week when the airco is used intensively.

We would be grateful if anyone could give us an idea.

Hello everyone,

We came back a few weeks ago from a short stay at our newly bought and furnised appartment in block 269. We really love it!

As we are planning to rent it out we are looking for a keyholder. We found that The House Maids offer a very good deal. Does anyone have experience with them? 

Another thting is that we are looking to place aircondittioning in our apartment. We got an offer at Climazone who are specialised in placing the aircons in Polaris. We were told that it is not possible to place a cheaper airo from, let say Carrefour. Does anyone know another company who places aircons at Terrazas for a good price?

Hello everyone,

My husband and I just bought an appartment last week in phase 2 block 269. We went over te see it and are all excited about it. I hope we made a good choice. I just found this forum and find it very interesting.

I have a few questions.
We thought that the airco was just a matter of installing a small something (don't know the word in English), but I found out it will need a whole installation which costs neartly 2000 euros. Do most people have this installed. Is it absolutely necessary in the summer? 

What about the tv? Do we need to buy anything in order to get european channels?

We have ordered all our furniture at DFS and are planning to come out for the May holidays. We can't wait to see  it all finished. How is the weather at that time. Will it be warm enough to go swimming. We have a daughter of 10 who just loves swimming.

Do we need to get in touch with anyone (I read about a 'block president'?). 

I see that there are a lot of English in the resort. Are there also other nationalities? (we are Dutch).

Look forward to getting some responses. Any tips or suggestion are very welcome.
