La Isla Dam

Does anyone have any information regarding the lake and the proposed plan to resolve the issue we all face? I have been informed despite receiving assurances to the contrary that they still plan to build this horrendous dam/eyesore and I would like to know the thoughts of other owners on La Isla.

I dont live on la Isla but have seen the plans for this development and it does look very nice and will enhance the area in my opinion.

I am hoping to start living on la isla next year... all blocks have a representative, you can get the names from alkasar, you know the office...i remember the plan was abandoned this  year as the whole site would  need an injection of cash that was not there.....some of the lake was ment to be reduced and cafe's and resturants would scatter around some of the lake....there was even talk from our block (2) our president/representative is a swedish, of a heated pool being built for winter lettings....but the owners would have to put there hands in the pockets.....

To be honest, I think there will be some changes when the paroumont park is built, but please go and see al kasar in the complex, or email them condo services.
